To further enhance the overall trading experience and optimize the trading environment, we will implement a Dynamic Leverage mechanism during News Events and Market Opening & Closing Periods.
Under this mechanism, leverage for newly opened positions may be temporarily reduced during specified high-risk periods. Once the affected period ends, leverage will revert to the original setting. This adjustment applies only to products with leverage exceeding the specified thresholds.
Affected Periods
1. During Major News Releases
(From 15 minutes before to 5 minutes after the announcement)
• USD-related news
Products: Gold, Silver, Forex, Indices, Commodities
• Oil-related news
Products: Oil, Commodities
• Other countries’ news
Products: Forex
2. Market Opening & Closing Periods
• Fridays: 3 hours before market close
• Monday–Thursday: 30 minutes before market close
• Mondays: 30 minutes after market opens
Products: Forex, Gold, Silver, Oil, Indices, Commodities
3. Day before/after a full-day gold market holiday
• If the following day is a full-day gold market holiday, the Friday rule will also apply. Leverage will be reduced 3 hours before market close
• If the previous day is a full-day gold market holiday, the Monday rule will also apply. Leverage will be reduced 30 minutes after market open
Products: Forex, Gold, Silver, Oil, Indices (Nas100, SP500, DJ30, US2000).
Leverage During Affected Periods
• Forex: 1:200
• Oil: 1:10
• Gold: 1:100 (XAUUSD247 included)
• Silver: 1:50
• Commodities: 1:5 (including XPT and XPD)
• Indices: 1:100
Applicable Market Events
This mechanism applies to major economic events, including (but not limited to):
• USD-related events: FOMC Interest Rate Decisions, CPI, PMI, NMI, PPI, GDP, PCE, Retail Sales, NFP, ADP
• Oil-related events: Crude Oil Inventories
• Other countries’ events: Key economic indicators such as CPI, PMI, GDP
