The initiative provided Iftar meals to workers in Dubai’s Al Quoz district during the holy month of Ramadan.
STARTRADER reiterated its commitment to giving back to society during the month of Ramadan with an Iftar meal distribution program near Al Anbiya Masjid in Al Quoz 4. The program, organized by STAR Foundation, the charitable arm of STARTRADER, aimed at community welfare programs around the world, was organized to distribute meals to workers in the area with the help of 30 STARTRADER employee volunteers.
The program was organized in Al Quoz 4, a residential area with an estimated population of over 23,000 people, and in the vicinity of industrial areas where thousands of workers reside in communities that play a crucial role in the industrial and service sectors of Dubai. These areas are often deprived of any Ramadan assistance.
Preparations started at 3 p.m., where employee volunteers coordinated the logistics of a temporary tented area and meal distribution. With the sunset and the call for prayer, labor workers from the neighboring areas gathered to not only receive food but also to experience the spirit of unity and generosity under the beautifully branded STARTRADER tent. The tent served as a covered and organized area for the attendees during the meal service. The initiative ended around 6:00 p.m. after the completion of the meal distribution. The event was recorded to commemorate the initiative and its impact on the community.
The CSR activity embodies the values of compassion, unity, and generosity that are characteristic of Ramadan celebrations while also emphasizing STARTRADER’s commitment to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
